Just moved in near swan valley area and wanted some Chinese food after a long day. Found China Garden and gave it a good. I was a bit skeptical because it was like in the middle of nowhere. I realized my skepticism was unfounded when I entered the place. The aroma of the food coming from the kitchen was amazing, whilst the place is dated in renovation, it felt very cosy and comfortable. The food was very reasonably priced, the serving portion was generous and they really delicious (just slightly salty on two out of the four dishes I ordered). The staff were so friendly and warm. Chatted with the boss who also spoke Cantonese was a nice experience. If anytime you are hungry, driving to or away from swan valley along Guildford. You must give this hidden gem a try.

Been going here for several years.As my goto for chinese.Recently ... They went above/beyond.Had ordered online VIA menulog.But menulog stuffed up order by delivering to WRONG nearby address.Contacted restaurant ... They then fixed things up by making a special delivery (at their own cost).China garden == :) :) :)Menulog == :( :( :(Thankyou for getting sorted.

What can I say, Wow. We had such a wonderful meal from here last night. Very generous serves and the quality was first rate. Highly recommend the satay chicken sticks and the honey chicken. We got take out.

This place was listed as $ but I reckon it's closer to $$ or $$$. Portions were very small, especially for a Chinese restaurant. They have higher prices for dine-in vs takeaway; not a massive amount, but still strange.Service was not overly friendly either. My partner asked for roast duck with plum sauce but was brought deep fried duck smothered in the plum sauce. We asked why it was fried instead of roasted and we were told typically it's fried with this meal." No offer to fix it. I had the combination meal with soft noodle which did not at all taste fresh. The sauce tasted like a jarred mushroom sauce. Also worth noting they upcharge for a soft noodle in lieu of the crunchy noodle.Definitely won't be returning

Normally one of my favorites but we ordered sweet and sour chicken, the sause was in the bag with nothing left in the container. Honey chicken which was battered chicken with no sauce and I got raw chicken wings.I called the restaurant and the guy was really lovely and resent the honey chicken, sweet and sour sauce and garlic chicken wings (cooked) but I ended up with just battered chicken again no honey sauce and i had to chase the delivery driver to sort it out.All in all a bit disappointing and I'm not looking forward to later after eating the raw chicken..

Finally I found a good Chinese restaurant in the Midland area that does a good satay beef and fried rice. Slightly out of Midland but close enough. Highly recommend and I will be back. Reasonable prices compared to others. Satay beef $17.50, large fried rice $11.

Ordered for the first time this weekend. Me and my partner were skeptical at first as we had seen, while passing by couple of times that the restaurant was a small one on the side of the road. Upon receiving the order, we both were surprised to see the portion sizes. The omelette tasted nice and I simply loved the bean sprout soft noodles(best I had so far). The fried rice was a bit dry but overall we were satisfied with the quality and definitely the quantity!!!

So happy with every meal here. Finally found a Chinese restaurant that has nice meat that's not fatty and nice fresh vegetables with delicious sauces that aren't swimming in oil. Noodle dishes are accomodated easily for fussy children who want modifications. My new favourite takeaway.
